Unidentified armed persons, suspected to be Baloch insurgents, opened fire on a trailer truck and a water tanker (bowser), bursting all tyres on both vehicles, in the Ahmadwal area of Nushki District in Balochistan on June 4, reports Zrumbesh. The drivers escaped unharmed. The motive behind the attack on the commercial vehicles is unclear, and no group has claimed responsibility. Attacks on commercial vehicles, particularly fuel tankers and supply trucks, have been a recurring tactic used by Baloch separatist groups to disrupt supply chains and economic activity in Balochistan.
