Unidentified armed persons, suspected to be Baloch insurgents, attacked Wadh checkpost, situated on Gawash Road in Kharan District of Balochistan on June 4, reports Zrumbesh. Witnesses reported hearing at least three powerful explosions followed by sustained gunfire from the direction of the checkpost. Security Forces (SFs) were present at the site at the time of the attack. No casualties or fatalities have been confirmed so far. No separatist group has formally claimed responsibility for the Kharan attack at the time of publication.
