Projectile event in Sumy area, Ukraine on Fri 12th June 2026

On the morning of June 12, Russian occupation forces shelled Sumy with long-range artillery.

Details: Grigorov notes that this is the third time since the beginning of the year that the Russians have attacked the Sumy community with this type of weaponry.

According to the OVA, 8 hits were recorded in the eastern part of the city.

Residential buildings, non-residential premises, transport, shops and other civilian infrastructure were damaged.

Six residents of the city were injured in the attack.

In particular, a 56-year-old man was seriously injured. He is in the hospital, where doctors are providing the necessary assistance.

Two elderly people were taken to a medical facility. After receiving treatment, they will be treated on an outpatient basis. The others received treatment without hospitalization.

"Kordon.Media", citing sources, writes that Russian troops struck the city with a North Korean "Koksan" self-propelled gun.

Grigorov's direct speech: "Such attacks are aimed not only at destroying infrastructure, but also at psychological pressure on people. Sumy region lives in conditions of constant threat. It is extremely important to remain vigilant and be ready to respond quickly to danger. Take care of yourself and your loved ones."
