Details: Targets were hit and a fire was reported on the territory of both enterprises, the General Staff noted.
The special operations forces that worked on TANEKO note that successful special operations were preceded by a thorough study of critically important facilities that ensure the functioning of the refinery. Thanks to pre-planned actions and coordination between the Special Operations Forces of Ukraine and representatives of the Chernaya Iskra insurgent movement, important elements of the refinery were hit and the AVT-7 ELOU, which is a key industrial unit for primary oil processing, was significantly damaged.
The Ukrainian military indicates that the TANEKO oil refining complex is one of the largest oil refining enterprises in the Russian Federation. The design processing capacity is over 16 million tons of oil per year. The enterprise produces a wide range of fuels and lubricants, including diesel fuel, aviation fuel and other petroleum products.
TAIF-NK is a large oil refining complex, which is distinguished by an extremely high depth of oil processing (after the launch of the Complex for Deep Processing of Heavy Residues, this indicator is declared at over 95%). The enterprise processes heavy high-sulfur oil and gas condensate.
The plant's products are divided into several key segments — from bulk fuels to specific raw materials for petrochemicals and military needs.
The General Staff also reports on the destruction of the Togliattikauchuk plant in the Samara region, which specializes in the production of synthetic rubbers (which, in particular, are used in the further production of solid rocket fuel for tactical and ballistic missiles), monomers, fractions, and high-octane additives to gasoline.
The target was hit and a fire broke out on the territory of the plant.
