A pistol with one magazine and nine cartridges was seized from a 35-year-old man after police responded to a report that he had been threatening and harassing a woman. When officers attempted to interview and search him, he resisted, physically assaulted the officers and tried to flee the scene. Three police officers sustained minor injuries during the arrest. The suspect was detained for 48 hours by order of the prosecutor.
