On the afternoon of June 4, a terrorist military column of over 100 personnel from Dawei and Thayetchaung townships advanced on foot toward Launglon from the Kamyawkin Bridge. It is learned that revolutionary forces targeted this advancing column with landmine attacks throughout their march.

Due to these landmine attacks, the terrorist military sustained numerous casualties and the column ground to a halt, unable to advance further. However, the column received further reinforcements today and resumed its offensive toward Launglon town.
