On 9 July 2021, in Sanchaung township (Yangon-West District, Yangon Region), an explosion occurred at the Sanchaung Township Electricity Power Corporation (EPC) Office. No casualties reported. There have been a series of bomb blast at EPC offices as the military regime exerts pressure on the public to pay their electric bills.
