Chongar bridge completely disabled after second strike - military
The bridge in Chongar was completely disabled as a result of a second strike on the night of June 9.
A corresponding statement by fighters of the 1st Separate Assault Regiment named after Dmytro Kotsiubailo of the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine was published on Facebook, Ukrinform reports.
"The second strike on the Chongar Bridge on the night of June 9 was the result of the joint and coordinated work of the Phalanx Center for Multidomain Operations, the 1st Separate Assault Regiment named after Dmytro Kotsiubailo, and the 475th Separate Assault Regiment CODE 9.2. The operation was carried out by Ukrainian FP-2 drones," the statement said.
The military said that "with the first strike on June 7, we damaged the surface in one direction. Now this important logistics route has been completely disabled. The result is that movement has been blocked for a long time."
"We see all movements and fully control the enemy's repair work. We are ready to make our long-range adjustments at any moment," the military said.
As Ukrinform reported, on the night of June 7, the Special Operations Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine damaged a strategic bridge between Crimea and Kherson region in the Chongar area.
