On 3 June 2026, Russian forces struck a gas station in Zaporizhia district, Zaporizhia. A fire broke out. While firefighters were extinguishing a liquefied gas tank that had caught fire as a result of the shelling, the Russians launched a second targeted attack on the rescue workers. No casualties reported.
