On 5 June 2026, the Ukrainian unmanned forces launched drone strikes on vessels Natra (IMO: 8729975) and Cirkon (IMO: 8887519) near Mariupol and Yalta in the Donetsk region (coded to Coast of Mariupol, Donetsk), killing 5 and injuring 3 crew members who were citizens of Azerbaijan. The vessels reportedly belong to the Russian shadow fleet and were sailing from Turkey to Rostov-on-Don under the flags of Palau and Belize. According to Ukrainian sources, ships were transporting stolen Ukrainian grain, military cargo, and petroleum products.
