On 1 June 2026, suspected RSF drone strikes targeted a local hospital and market in Beni Halba-populated Kubbum (Kubum, South Darfur), killing 12 - 21 civilians and unspecified militants (coded as Darfur communal militia) and injuring tens. Latest reports state that 4 civilians were killed in a strike in the market and 14 civilians were killed in a strike targeting 2 vehicles in the Al-Ramaliya neighborhood. Fatalities coded as 18 based on Radio Dabanga (latest report). SFA claimed SAF carried out the strike.
