On 4 June 2026, Israeli warplanes struck two residential apartments in Gaza - Sheikh Radwan (Gaza City, Gaza Strip), killing 7 people including Hassan Rabah Hassan Labad, Deputy Head of the Hamas General Security Apparatus, and members of the Labad and Al Ghoul families. The IDF stated that they targeted Hamas operatives in the General Security Apparatus, and Asim Amin Shalash Shubair, a senior official of the same apparatus, in this strike. This event occurred in a Hamas-controlled area of the Yellow Line.
