On 1 June 2026, in Let Yet Ma village (Myaing township, Pakokku district, Magway region), the Myanmar military conducted a drone strike using two kamikaze drones coming from the Monywa based Northwestern Regional Military Command without an armed clash occurring at around 11:50 am. The drone strike injured 6 civilians, including two children, and damaged several houses.
