On 4 June 2026, at 12:20 AM local time, Hezbollah fired 2 suicide drones targeting an Israeli command gathering near the Beaufort Castle (Al Nabatieh, Al Nabatieh). Hezbollah also targeted an Israeli Merkava tank near the castle, leading to its destruction. Between 4:15 PM and 11:30 PM, Hezbollah fired artillery shells and rocket salvos targeting Israeli soldiers near the castle. At 5:15 PM, Hezbollah fired 1 guided missile targeting an Israeli Merkava tank, leading to its destruction. At 6:20 PM, Hezbollah targeted Israeli soldiers using 'heavy' missiles. At 7:30 PM, Hezbollah fired 2 (Ababil type) hovering quadcopter drones targeting two Israeli Merkava tanks, claiming direct hits. At 10:30 PM and 11:40 PM, Hezbollah fired two guided missiles targeting two Israeli Merkava tanks, leading to their destruction. At 11:00 PM, Hezbollah fired a swarm of suicide drones targeting a concentration of Israeli soldiers and vehicles. At 11:30 PM, Hezbollah fired specialized rockets targeting the same concentration. At 11:50 PM, Hezbollah fired a swarm of suicide drones targeting Israeli soldiers and vehicles. The IDF announced that one of its officers were killed in a Hezbollah anti-tank missile attack while operating north of the Litani River (likely referring to this location). Another officer, a deputy platoon commander in the Commando Brigade's Egoz Unit, was killed after being severely injured in a Hezbollah drone attack in southern Lebanon (coded to this event).
