Operators of the 1st Separate Center of the Unmanned Systems Forces, in cooperation with the Special Operations Forces and other components of the Defense Forces, struck the Grushovaya oil transshipment terminal in the city of Novorossiysk, Krasnodar Territory of the Russian Federation on the night of June 8.

Details: The Grushovaya oil depot, owned by Chernomortransneft within Transneft, is one of the largest oil product storage facilities in the Caucasus. The complex includes tanks with a total capacity of about 1.2 - 1.4 million tons and serves as a key storage hub for the Novorossiysk oil port.

The facility is used to receive, store, and transship oil and petroleum products arriving via main oil pipelines for further sea export. The operation of the complex provides significant revenues to the Russian budget, which are used to finance armed aggression against Ukraine.

A fire was recorded on the territory of the facility. The extent of the damage is being determined, the General Staff added.

What preceded it : On the night of June 8, drones attacked the Russian city of Novorossiysk . According to eyewitnesses, the industrial site "Grushova" - a tank farm of the transshipment complex "Sheskharis" - is on fire.
