An official from the Yedashe Township People's Defense Team (PDT/PaKaPha) told Mizzima today (June 7) that the military junta launched an airstrike on Najat (Lower) Village in Yedashe Township, Bago Region, yesterday morning (June 6), killing an elderly civilian man and injuring two others.

The deceased was identified as 75-year-old U Maung Pu, and among the two injured, over-40-year-old Ko Chit Phwal sustained critical injuries, according to the official.

The military junta reportedly carried out airstrikes around Najat, Gu Gyi, and Shan Su villages in Yedashe Township yesterday, and two civilian houses were also damaged.
