Hooded Shooter Who Fired at Police During University of Antioquia Riots Captured in Medellín

Medellín, Antioquia - Authorities have arrested Diego Manuel Guzmán, known by the alias "Cuervo", for firing at police officers during last Wednesday’s violent riots at the University of Antioquia on June 3. According to officials, Guzmán was tracked down hours after the incident in the Castilla neighborhood, where he was captured during a police operation. A subsequent search of his residence uncovered ELN flags, military-style clothing, a drone, documents and manuals on explosive manufacturing, and other items now under analysis by the Prosecutor’s Office. Investigations are ongoing to determine his possible connections to illegal armed groups and his full role in the violent events on the university campus.
