Gunmen ambushed and shot a Border Patrol Police officer, injuring him at the base of the 4411th Border Patrol Police Task Force, Talat Thanto, Thanto District, Yala Province. The injured officer has been identified as Sergeant Kantawich Nakkerd, who sustained a right shoulder injury.
