On June 4, 2026, a dispute erupted in the Aisha Bakkar area of Beirut due to previous disagreements. The dispute escalated into gunfire, resulting in injuries to three people, one of whom was in critical condition. An army patrol immediately arrived at the scene, contained the situation, and arrested several individuals involved. A quantity of light and medium weapons and ammunition was also seized. An investigation has been launched with the detainees under the supervision of the competent judicial authorities, and efforts are underway to apprehend the remaining individuals involved.
