On June 1 at around 9:30 PM, the military council used two jet fighters to drop at least four bombs on the Kyaung Cha Twin IDP camp in Ramree Township. Due to the airstrike, two elderly men sheltering inside the camp were hit by bomb shrapnel and died on the spot, while five other civilians, including four women, sustained injuries.
