On May 31, the Delhi Police Special Cell (DPSC) arrested nine suspected terrorists and recovered firearms, explosive materials and multiple hand grenades during the operation, linked to Pakistan's Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI) and the Dawood Ibrahim-led Mumbai underworld network in Delhi, reports The Times of India. The accused were allegedly planning attacks on critical installations, Security Force (SF) personnel and religious places in the national capital. Investigators revealed that the terror module had been developed over a prolonged period by Pakistan-based handlers and included individuals of Nepali origin. Authorities are probing the network's funding, recruitment and logistics as well as the role of local facilitators.
