On May 31, Security Forces (SFs) recovered a cache of arms, ammunition and military stores during search operations in the Thinejang and Leimatak areas under Churachandpur Police Station in Churachandpur District of Manipur, reports Manipur Police on X. The recovered items included one AK-47 rifle with magazine, two single-barrel rifles, one country-made 50 mm mortar, two 50 mm mortar shells, two High-Explosive (HE) mortar bombs, and 10 rounds of 7.62 mm AK-47 ammunition. SFs also recovered three Bullet Proof Jacket (BPJ) harnesses, three helmets and three pairs of jungle boots.
