On May 30, Police recovered a live shell near Jagar Park in Poonch District of Jammu and Kashmir (J&K), reports Greater Kashmir. Officials said the shell was immediately secured after police teams reached the spot, and it will be defused to render it safe. No injuries or damage were reported in the incident. Security forces have intensified precautionary measures in the area as part of routine surveillance operations in border districts of Jammu and Kashmir (J&K), where recovery of unexploded ordnance occasionally occurs due to past and ongoing security-related activity along sensitive zones.
