On June 4, Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said that two terrorists associated with Fitna Al Khawarij, referring to the term used by the state to designate members of the banned Tehreek-i-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) were killed in Dera Ismail Khan District of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP), reports Dawn. ISPR said, “On [the] reported presence of khwarij, an intelligence-based operation (IBO) was conducted by security forces in Dera Ismail Khan district…During [the] conduct of the operation, own troops effectively engaged [the] khwarij location and after [an] intense exchange of fire, two khwarij … were sent to hell.”
