The Taliban security command in Herat has announced that two-armed robbers were killed following a clash with members of the group in the Injil District of the province, Hasht-e Subh reports on June 4. Sayed Masoud Hosseini, Spokesperson for the Taliban security command in Herat, said that both armed robbers were killed in the exchange of fire and claimed that the situation is now under their control.
