On June 3, Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) personnel seized weapons, ammunition, and narcotics following an exchange of fire with Rohingya Solidarity Organisation (RSO) along the Myanmar border near Palongkhali border in Ukhiya Upazila (Sub-District) of Coxs Bazar District, reports narinjara.com. Following the clash, the retreating RSO militants fled back into Myanmar territory. A subsequent search of the abandoned boat uncovered a G3 rifle, three standard magazines, three empty fiber magazines, and 515 live ammunition rounds. Law enforcement also seized illicit narcotics consisting of 4,000 methamphetamine-based Yaba tablets. Additional items recovered from the vessel included a Symphony feature phone, two Airtel SIM cards, two long-sleeved shirts, 12 packs of cigarettes, and 20 BDT in cash.
