Myingyan District Battalion 11 announced tonight that they launched consecutive two-day mortar attacks using 60 mm rounds against the General Administration Department (GAD) office and police station in Ngazun Township, Mandalay Region.
The battalion informed that the attack was carried out on May 28 while the terrorist military column was advancing through Ngan Lun, Thabyay Kan, Dat Taw, and Kula villages within Ngazun Township.
Myingyan District Battalion 11 stated that this operation was a counter-attack against the coup-staging terrorist military column enforcing public military conscription while targeting the lives and property of the civilian population.
