SAA event in City of Belgrade, Kaluderica area, Serbia on Mon 1st June 2026

A 41-year-old man was admitted to a hospital with a gunshot wound to his leg. He claimed that the incident occurred in front of his home, stating that he heard gunshots but did not see the perpetrator due to the darkness. Following an investigation, police have determined that the victim's original claims were false. The man had accidentally inflicted the gunshot wound upon himself using an automatic pistol. During a search of his residence, police found and seized the automatic pistol along with two matching bullets and several pieces of ammunition of different calibers. The suspect was arrested and detained for 48 hours for the illegal production, possession, and trafficking of weapons.
