On the morning of June 4, the Russian army hit the roof of a high-rise building in the Nemyshlyanskyi district of Kharkiv with a drone. The drone's warhead fell onto a playground in the yard of the building and failed to detonate.

This was told to the Public by the head of the department of the Kharkiv Regional Prosecutor's Office, Dmytro Yatsychenko.

According to his preliminary data, the Russians hit the high-rise building with a Geran-2 drone.

"The debris, previously known as "Geran-2", fell on the playground. At the moment, investigators and prosecutors are inspecting the scene of the incident, recording the consequences of the hit. As for the combat unit on the playground, everything is obvious here. It is extremely dangerous in this place," says Dmytro Yatsychenko.

Yevhen Bolotin, the chairman of the board of the condominium association, told Suspilny that as a result of the impact, several fires broke out on the roof of the building, which were extinguished by rescuers.

"It seems like a small ( fire — ed. ), but it was burning from above, burning from below, burning somewhere there. You could say it was small, but there were several of them. They could have grown into large ones, so we localized them. Everything is fine now," says Yevhen Bolotin.

"We contained the fire together. I gave them the tools they used to contain it so that we wouldn't have to worry about the "towers" because there was no need for that. All that remained was to carry out repairs, because the buildings were in a state of disrepair — and that was it."
