The military council troops carried out airstrikes dropping 36 bombs on villages within Kyauktu Township, Magway Region, without any ongoing battles, according to an official from the Yaw Alinn Tan group.

Yesterday, May 28, at around 11:00 PM, 1 jet fighter coming up from Naypyitaw Ela Air Base, 2 jet fighters coming up from Mandalay Tada-U Air Base, and 1 Y-12 aircraft launched unprovoked bombing attacks on villages in Kyauktu Township.

Due to the airstrikes, the status of civilian casualties and destruction of houses cannot be confirmed at the moment and is still being investigated.
