Starting from May 27, the KIA and allied revolutionary forces have been ambushing military columns advancing from Indaw town toward Mawlu town. The clashes, which are taking place near See Pein village at the exit of Mawlu town and near Naba junction, remain intense, and the military council has also launched airstrikes using 3 jet fighters.

During these clashes, the battle near See Pein village at the exit of Mawlu town resulted in at least 15 soldiers killed, 3 military vehicles burned and destroyed, and weapons and ammunition seized.
