Law enforcement officers seized 15 tons of detonators for ammunition from the warehouse of one of the enterprises in Nikopol, Dnipropetrovsk region.

This is stated in the press service of the National Police, Ukrainian News reports.

"On December 18, employees of the Department of Strategic Investigations of the National Police, together with detectives of the Main Investigative Department, with the involvement of explosives technicians and rescuers, conducted an authorized search in the warehouse of one of the enterprises in Nikopol. During the search, about 15 tons of detonators for 122-mm and 125-mm projectiles were seized." , - it says.

The law enforcement officers also found homemade equipment that makes it possible to disassemble detonators into parts.
