On 28 May 2026, in Yae Htwet village (Wetlet township, Shwebo district, Sagaing region), the Myanmar military from Shwebo town conducted drone strikes on a restaurant using two suicide drones at about 12 pm without an armed clash occurring. Khit Thit Media reported that 2 civilians sustained injuries and a house was damaged, while the DVB reported that a civilian was killed and at least 4 others were injured. Fatalities coded as 1, using the most recent estimate.
