On 24 May 2026, near Kyauk Shat village (Yebyu township, Dawei district, Tanintharyi region), the Myanmar military conducted airstrikes and dropped bombs with two paramotors that came from the Mawrawaddy naval base in Kan Pauk village tract around 11 am. The bombs fell and exploded at a wood production site and in a forest. There were no casualties.
