SAA event in Mexico on Tue 2nd June 2026
2nd June 2026
A man was shot and killed in northern Culiacán, Sinaloa, in the early hours of June 2nd. The victim was in the driver's seat of a white pickup truck with company logos when he was ambushed by gunmen in a residential area. The deceased was officially identified as 42-year-old Marcial N., an employee of a local agricultural company. Residents of the Pradera Dorada neighborhood alerted law enforcement after hearing multiple gunshots near Del Océano Street. Our correspondent on the scene documented that the Ford Lobo pickup truck had bullet holes concentrated in the passenger-side window and came to a stop next to the sidewalk in front of a private residence. Mexican Army personnel secured the residential area to preserve the crime scene. Investigators collected spent shell casings from the street and ordered the body to be taken to the forensic services for further investigation.
