On 29 May 2026, unidentified rockets (claimed by the IDF to be from Hezbollah) struck a church for the Orthodox sect, a nun school and in the near proximity of a Lebanese Red Cross center in Marjayoun town (Marjayoun, Al Nabatieh). There were no casualties.
