On 27 May 2026, near Petaquillas, Guerrero, unidentified individuals used drones to launch at least four explosives at the premises of Gruas Alonso crane company on the Mexico-Acapulco Federal Road. The attack damaged at least three vehicles, but the workers who were at the scene remained unharmed. The company operates for the municipal government of Chilpancingo. There were no casualties.
