On 28 May 2026, night, U.S. forces targeted (coded as air/drone strikes by default) IRGC missile launchers in a tunnel connecting the Omidiyeh Air Base with the mountains west of Miankuh/Miyankuh (location coded to Omidiyeh Air Base in Omidiyeh, Khuzestan), causing an explosion. The strike occurred at the same time sirens were heard in Kuwait and was in response to the launch of missiles/drones towards U.S. military bases in Kuwait, suspected to have been fired from that location. This event occurred following the two-week ceasefire agreed between the US, Israel, and Iran on 7 April. Casualties unknown.
