On 24 May 2026, in Escuinapa de Hidalgo, Sinaloa, a drone attack was launched with explosives damaging a taco stand in downtown. It is unknown whether the drone was intended for the taco stand or another location and there is no information on the perpetrators. Two vehicles were damaged after the explosion. There were no casualties.
