In the Luhansk region, the SBU, together with the National Police in order to counteract the illicit trafficking of weapons, blocked the supply channel of large consignments of casualties from the area of the joint forces operation. This was reported by the SBU press service, Ukrainian News reports. Special services officers found that a group of persons had mounted a weapon shelter at the former location of one of the military units near Severodonetsk. According to the SBU, the attackers planned to smuggle the smugglers illegally to the central regions of Ukraine for resale. In the course of sanctioned investigative actions, the SBU staff found several hiding places with ready-to-sell military equipment. In total, law enforcement officers seized one hundred and seventy Grenade shots, nearly two hundred and fifty Grenades of various modifications, one hundred and fifty detonators, one hundred and forty powder charges for shots, RPG-26 and RPG-22 Grenade launchers, flamethrowers, jet engines, explosives, signal mines thousands of ammunition for firearms. The total weight of the withdrawn weapons reaches 5 tons.
