On 25 May 2026, evening, US forces struck (coded as air/drone strikes by default) the Iranian Surface-to-Air Missile site in Bandar Abbas in the airbase (coded as Bandar Abbas International Airport, Hormozgan). The Iranian air defenses became active shortly after. This event occurred following the two-week ceasefire agreed between the US, Israel, and Iran on 7 April. Casualties unknown.
