On 23 May 2026, the Freedom Fighters of the Afghanistan Freedom Front detonated an improvised explosive device (IED) targeting a Taliban supply convoy in the Surubi district of Kabul. One Taliban fighter was killed and three others were wounded in the attack. Total 1 fatality.
