On 19 May 2026, near Yu Mar village (Hpakant township, Mohnyin district, Kachin state), a combined force of the Kachin Independence Army (KIO/KIA) and allies conducted drone strikes on the Myanmar military soldiers who were preparing to enter Hseng Taung Ywar Gyi at around 9:30 pm. 4 military soldiers were killed. 4 fatalities.
