UAV event in Krasnodar Krai, Il'sky Refinery area, Russian Federation on Mon 1st June 2026

On the night of June 2, the Ukrainian Defense Forces struck the Ilya Oil Refinery, located in the Krasnodar Territory of the Russian Federation.

This was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

They say that as a result of the impact, a fire broke out on the territory of the enterprise. The extent of the damage is being clarified.

The Il'sky Refinery is one of the largest oil refining enterprises in the south of the Russian Federation. The refining capacity is about 6.6 million tons of oil per year. The plant produces petroleum products used, in particular, to supply the Russian troops.

The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine also confirmed the destruction of two primary oil processing plants, AVT-1 and AVT-2 of the Novoshakhtinsky Refinery in the Rostov Region of the Russian Federation. On May 31, Ukrainian fighters struck this enterprise with Neptune cruise missiles.

In addition, the department clarified information about the strikes on the linear production and dispatching station "Lazarevo" in the Kirov region of the Russian Federation on May 31. There, two RVS-50,000 m3 tanks and buildings of main pumping stations were damaged as a result of the attacks. And as a result of the strikes on the territory of the Saratov Oil Refinery, the damage to the AVT-6 primary oil processing unit was confirmed.

On June 2, the operational headquarters of the Russian Krasnodar Territory confirmed a drone attack on the Ilya Oil Refinery , after which a fire broke out there.
