According to local sources, the military advanced into Ngazun Township, Mandalay Region, and launched a drone bomb attack yesterday, killing eight civilians and one resistance fighter, while a three-month-old infant who was wounded was successfully rescued.

A military column of around 100 troops, which had marched out from Ngazun town located over 40 miles southwest of Mandalay, arrived near villages west of the town at around 11:30 a.m. yesterday (May 27).
