Local residents and aviation monitoring sources report that the military junta launched intense airstrikes on the town of Matupi in Chin State this morning (May 26), using Y-12 aircraft and jet fighters.

Around 10:00 a.m. today, a total of seven junta jet fighters—three from Tada-U, two from Magway, and two from Ela—carried out the attack. Simultaneously, a Y-12 bomber dropped series of bombs, according to local resident HKL, who monitors regional airstrikes.
