The KNU has released a statement stating that KNDO Battalion 7, which is under the Karen National Liberation Army (KNLA) Brigade 4, and joint forces have attacked and captured a Military Council camp stationed inside Kyauk Lone Gyi Village, Ler Mu Lar Township, Myeik-Dawei District, Tanintharyi Region, an area controlled by the KNU/KNLA. The attack on the Kyauk Lone Gyi camp began on May 19, and yesterday, May 29, at 4:00 PM, KNDO Battalion 7 under Brigade 4 and joint forces completely attacked and captured it.
