Myaing People's Defense Force (PDF) released a statement claiming that 15 members of the Military Council troops were killed in a landmine attack carried out by revolutionary forces against a military column advancing into surrounding villages from the Lin Ka Taw military camp in Myaing Township, Magway Region.

According to the statement, the revolutionary forces carried out the landmine attack at the entrance of Lin Ka Taw Village yesterday, May 26, targeting the military column that had been moving around burning down local villages.
