On 29 June 2021, Houthi forces fired two missiles at Marib - Ar Rawdah neighborhood killing at least 3 citizens, including 1 child, and injuring at least 10 others. Houthi forces claimed to have fired two Badr-1 artillery rockets at the Sahn al Jin Military Camp (Marib) and the HQs of the 3rd Military District (Marib City), killing and injuring dozens of pro-Hadi fighters, but the claims do not seem to be substantiated. Some sources also reported a third explosion in the city.
