On 29 June 2021, in Kyaiklat town (Kyaiklat township, Pyapon district, Ayeyarwady region), four bombs exploded in different locations, including two explosions near a high school, one explosion near the education director's office and one near the city entrance. The Kyaiklat PDF group claimed responsibility for the incident. Four civilians were injured.
